IT Internal Systems- Backing Up

 Backing up Storage

There are multiple ways that this can be done depending on how much you’re going to access the information. If it’s quite a lot the best thing to do would be to create a Google account so that you are able to create a Google  Drive in order to see your files more easily and make changes if needed, just make sure that you remember you username and password to access it.

Another way to make sure that you can easily access it without having to use a log in or any software would be to simply save it onto a USB if you were to need the files often. If you don’t need to access the files often then a hard drive would be best as you can place it in a safe place and when you need it in the future you can access it easily if you have the cable still.

Another software that would be beneficial and comes with the modern phones such as Nokia Lumia’s would be a OneDrive account which is linked in with you Hotmail and Outlook account meaning If you have your Hotmail or Outlook account already set up on your laptop or phone then you can easily access your OneDrive. It’s easier to use and to view and download files and if you easily loose inputs such as hard drives and a USB then OneDrive is the best thing to use and it can easily be downloaded onto a phone and computer for free.
